We will be staying off disney property. Wondering how the park hopping works. Do you have to pack up and drive to another parking location? Also, we have a 10 month old and would like to leave the park and come back to watch fireworks. Do they allow that?

    Hi Crystal,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  If you have the park hopper option on your theme park tickets, then you can visit as many parks as you like in a single day.  In addition, if you park at one park, you can leave your car there if you wish, and use Disney Transportation to visit additional parks.  If you start at the Magic Kingdom, for example, and park there in the morning, you can feel free to hop on the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then on to Epcot, rather than moving your car.  Just don't forget where you park!  I recommend using your digital camera or cell phone to take a picture of your parking area just to be safe you'll remember where to pick it up later on.

If you don't have the park hopper option, you can still leave and return to the same park as many times as you like in a single day.  In this example, you could start at the Magic Kingdom, and then return to your resort for a swim, lunch, etc. and head back to the Magic Kingdom for Wishes later that same day.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
