Hello Sara!
Welcome to planDisney! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort can be a big event for so many people. It's the cumulative effort of saving, planning, and dreaming of big adventures. I'm excited that you are planning your upcoming trip and visiting us here at planDisney for help!
Guests not staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel can enter each of the theme parks at the regular Park opening time. You can see the Park hours right on the
Hours & Events Calendar. For example, I see that for Monday, June 3, 2024, the Park Hours for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are 8 am to 8 pm. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel can enter any of the theme parks
30 minutes before every day. Now, don't worry about those 30 minutes as while it can be an advantage for Resort guests it is still possible for every other guest to still have an efficient day. I highly suggest arriving to the Parks in the morning right at Park opening time. If you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park head straight to Adventureland or Liberty Square as this area of the Park does not open until regular Park opening hours. You can be one of the first to enter these areas and experience
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad first! While the other theme parks do open a lot of their attractions during Early Theme Park Entry, park crowds are still low, and perfect for taking photos in front of Park icons.
This is why I always recommend purchasing Memory Maker. I love having everyone in the picture with the perfect backdrop.
Disney PhotoPass photographers are located at all the best locations in the Parks and with Memory Maker you can have unlimited downloads of all the pictures that are taken. Make sure to ask about Magic Shots as they are my favorite.
I hope this helps and you have a magical time!
Happy Planning!
