If we are staying off Disneg property but have park tickets, are we able to go to AOA and check out radiator springs?

    Welcome to planDisney Melissa!

I can totally understand wanting to visit the Cars section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort. After all, Radiator Springs is the cutest little town in Carburetor County!

While you are welcome to visit the resort, parking is very limited and you may be denied parking if you try to take your personal vehicle. The best (and most fun!) way to visit Art of Animation is to hop on the Disney Skyliner at either the International Gateway of EPCOT or at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You will get an amazing bird's eye view from your Gondola. When you arrive at the resort, stroll around to enjoy the fun themes in each area of the resort, although I do think Cars is the best one - kachow!

During your visit, you may also want to head across Hourglass Lake and check out Disney's Pop Century Resort. If you need a snack, try their groovy Tie Die Cheesecake! After you are done exploring, hop back on the Skyliner for another fun ride in the sky.

Have fun resort hopping! This is a great way to check out a few resorts to see where you might stay during your next Walt Disney World adventure!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
