Staying Nov. 15-21, wanting to schedule sit down breakfast and dinner with quick service lunch's, using del.d. plan. Some breakfast are at diff. resorts. Does it matter that much if not there when parks open? Trying to make the most out of our din.plan!

    Hello Christy,

I think you are traveling at a perfect time with your trip happening before Thanksgiving, so you should have small crowds (yea!). With smaller crowds, the need to be in the parks right as they open is not as crucial. If you are early risers, you may still want to make your reservation early since you can often eat early and still be in the parks near the opening time.

Might I suggest that as you are deciding on your breakfast locations that you do try and pick something close to the park you will be visiting.  For example, Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge on a day you are going to the Animal Kingdom; Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort on a day you are visiting the Magic Kingdom; Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club on a day you are visiting Epcot, etc. And of course, there are many breakfast dining choices in the parks, too.

Did you know you can view photos and menus of the WDW restaurants here as well as make your reservations online? With your trip beginning on 11/15/2011, you can begin making your reservations for your entire trip on 5/19/2011.

Finally, just a little secret of mine.  Think about The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom for breakfast and schedule it for the first time slot on a non Extra Magic Morning day. You will be in the park before it opens and have a chance for some fabulous photos on Main Street USA; it is a tradition for a our family!

    Bon Appetit!
