Hi, Amy!
You are in for a real treat staying near
Disney Springs. The transformation of this area has been incredible. With so many shops, restaurants, and activities, you could make an entire vacation just visiting Disney Springs!
All guests to Walt Disney World are welcome to use the
transportation system of boats, monorails, or buses even if not staying at Walt Disney World resort hotel. However, remember that transportation from Disney Springs does not offer service directly to any of the theme parks. You would need to transfer at a resort.
There is boat service in Disney Springs, but these simply shuttle guests to surrounding resorts and back; They do not go to any theme park. Boat service is available to Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios from the Boardwalk area hotels. Boat service is available to the Magic Kingdom at the monorail resorts or Wilderness Lodge.
When staying off property, the best option is to use that hotel's bus service or take your own vehicle. There is a daily
parking fee at the theme parks if you take your car, but it might be worth it for the time savings. It is up to you! Chat with your hotel about their transportation schedule to see what will work the best for your family.
Happy travels!
Cathy
