Staying 2 nites at PO Riverside Resort and only doing a day at Epcot...would like to take the boat , but understand it only goes to DD area. Is is feasible to take boat to DD , just to see what the ride is like, then bus it from DD to Epcot?

Hi, Anita!   There is a boat that goes to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans which you are welcome to enjoy.  This is a great way to get to Downtown Disney with all its great shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

If you want to go to Epcot from Downtown Disney, you will need to head back to your resort to catch a bus there as buses do not run directly to Epcot (or any of the theme parks) from here.    Another fun option might be to take the bus from Downtown Disney to the Beach Club, then walk to Epcot's International Gateway (located near World Showcase).  This way, you get the boat ride to Downtown Disney, you can check out the lovely Beach Club Resort, see some of the Boardwalk, and enter into the back entrance into Epcot.

Hope this works out for you!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
