Staying 5 nights Sept. arriving Labor Day, have tickets for 2 days in the parks, plan 1 day at Epcot and one at the Magic Kingdom. What should I plan to see with my 8 yr old daughter who is not very into the whole Princess thing?

    Hello Isabel!

Congratulations on planning your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!  September will be here before you know it.

Although there is plenty to see for fans of the Disney Princesses, there is no shortage of other attractions and experiences at Epcot Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park!  Take a look at all there is to see and do. At the age of 8 years old, I would assume that your daughter will enjoy all of the attractions in both parks. Is she a thrill seeker?  If so, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are not to be missed!  There are, of course,  plenty of other attractions which are perfect for those who prefer a tamer experience.

In Magic Kingdom Park, I think your daughter will love playing the interactive game, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.  What 8 year old wouldn't enjoy trying to save the Magic Kingdom from a host of Disney Villains?!  At Epcot, she can become a secret agent throughout World Showcase along with Agent P! Take a look at Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure.  Both adventures are big hits with my kids!

Feel free to write back to me with any additional questions.  I am happy to help!

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
