Hi Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You have brought us a great question and I have a lot of suggestions for you! One of the best things about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is the wide variety of options that you have for spending your days there. Some people even vacation there without ever visiting any of the theme parks!
My first recommendation is to spend a day at
Disney Springs. There is a ton of shopping and dining, but you can also go bowling, watch movies, and get the kids in your party a makeover while you're there.
My next thought is to explore the
Disney Resort hotels. Your own Disney Resort hotel will have activities planned during the day and night for you to enjoy, like Movies Under the Stars, but you can also visit other Disney Resort hotels to experience the beautiful landscapes, colorful artistry and tasty eats. Since each Disney Resort hotel's pool is reserved for Guests staying at that specific location, you won't be able to take a dip in other pools, but definitely set aside some time for the pool at your Disney Resort hotel.
There are other
recreational activities outside of the theme parks, as well. My family loves a little friendly competition at the two miniature golf courses on property - Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf and Winter Summerland Miniature Golf. There are also
fireworks dessert cruises, fishing excursions, and regular golf courses to choose from!
As you can see, you will have no problem filling your additional days during your visit! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
