Hi, Kristin! Thank you so much for stopping by with this great dining question. I am a huge fan of the
Disney Dining Plans for the convenience they afford my family. When I am on vacation, I want to focus on having as much fun as possible with my family, not worrying about how to feed my family each day. The Disney Dining Plan allows me hand over the cooking duties to the Disney chefs each day. Now, if I could just bring them home with us so we could enjoy a turkey leg and Dole Whip Float each day, that would be the best kind of magic!
Kristin, the meal entitlements for your party will be separated into Adult and Child credits. When you receive a receipt at the end of each meal, you will find a running total of how many Table Service and Quick Service entitlements remain for all adults and all children. You will also see a total number of snacks remaining for the entire party. Once your son departs, the other guests in your party are welcome to use his entitlements. One important thing to note is the age of your son, as his entitlements will be designated to cover a Kids Meal if he is between the ages of three and nine, or an Adult Meal if he is ten or older. If he is nine or younger, then you would only be able to order from the Kids Menu when using one of those entitlements.
Kristin, be sure to hop online and make
Advance Dining Reservations before your vacation. These can be made up to 180 days in advance and there are some dining locations that see their availability go quickly once they open! Thanks again for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you would like some help in deciding which dining locations to visit!
