We're staying 5 nights and don't want 5 days of dining since we're only in parks for 4 days. We're thinking we can save some money by not doing dining plan. Do you know if restaurants, quick service and table, accept gift cards?

    Hi Rose!

I'm a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan and one of the main reasons is because of how flexible it is!  You can use the plan at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at participating locations at Disney Springs on your non park days.

If the plan still won't work for you, you can certainly use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your meals.  Disney Gift Cards are how we usually pay for our entire Walt Disney World vacation since we ask for them as gifts for any holiday or birthday.  We know we will always use them!

If you have more than one Disney Gift Card, you can easily combine them into one (up to $1000 per card) on the Disney Gift Card website.  It's also a great idea to register them on the website in case they are lost.  You can easily transfer the balance from one card to another online so you don't lose out on the balance of the lost card.  Also what we like to do is use our MagicBands to room charge all of our meals and purchases, then pay our room bill at the Resort hotel front desk with the gift cards.

    Have a magical day!
