We are staying 7 nights, 8 days. Can we purchase the dining plan for 8 days since our last day we will be at the parks? Also, I have 1 child that can't commit to joining us because of his job. Can I add him to my dinner reservation?

    Hello Christy!
Wow, it is so exciting that you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation and that you are considering purchasing a Disney Dining Plan! My son and I love the Disney Dining Plan! The way the Disney Dining Plans work is that they are based on the amount of nights that you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and every person in your room has to have the same Disney Dining Plan. So if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort for 7 nights then you will have 7 days of Disney Dining Plan Credits per person which you can use the day of check-in until midnight on the day you check out. If you desire 8 days of the Disney Dining Plan, then you would have to add a night to your Walt Disney World vacation. Even if you are not 100% sure that your child will be able to come with you on your Walt Disney World vacation, I would still recommend that you add him to the total number in your party when you are making your Advanced Dining Reservations based on my experience. You will not be charged a fee if he is not there for the Advanced Dining Reservation as long as one or two people show up for the Advanced Dining Reservation. I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
