I have 7 staying for 14 nights and have ADRs set for each night. For a portion of the trip an 8th will join us. To be safe, all ADRs were set for 8. Do I need to inform reservations of the days I only need 8? Will ADR be lost if changed from 8 to 7?

    Hi Jerry,

I think it's great that you thought ahead and made reservations for 8, instead of 7 when you didn't know exactly which meals would have that one extra person. If you call to change your reservations, I believe that they will cancel your existing reservation and make a new reservation. Because you are only decreasing by one guest, I recommend keeping all existing reservations as they are.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
