Hi, Shannon!
I love the idea of a stop at Walt Disney World prior to your Disney Cruise. You will get to enjoy two magical vacations in one!
Parking at Disney Resort Hotels is for the exclusive use of registered guests, so you will not be able to leave your vehicle at the end of your resort stay. However, it is an easy one-hour drive from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral, so you may find it easy to simply drive to the Cruise Terminal for your cruise. You will be directed to the luggage drop-off area, then you may park your car in the garage where you will find plenty of parking. Next you will check-in at the Cruise Terminal then board your ship and get the party started!
If you prefer to use
Disney Transportation, you might want to book the transfer from the Orlando International Airport. You will be able to park your car then head to the Disney Cruise Line buses for your ride to the port. The current cost for round trip transfers is $90 per guest (subject to change) plus you will need to pay for airport parking. If you drive to the cruise port, you will have overnight parking fees but will not have to pay for the transfers and will have the added convenience of having your vehicle and you can hop on the road back to Ohio at the end of your cruise.
Give a call to Disney Cruise to book any desired transfers. However you choose to arrive to your cruise, get there during your scheduled
Port Arrival Time and have your
passports, identification, and all needed documents ready to go. The quicker you check in, the quicker you can head to that buffet for a delicious lunch!
Feel free to stop back to planDisney if you have any other questions. Wishing you a magical cruise!
Cathy
