We are staying next week in a Little Mermaid room at AoA and had read on a blog that there was a kiosk near that section's pool that sold coffee and breakfast items in the morning so you didn't have to make the long trek to the main lobby. Is that true?

Hello Tracie!  I really think you will love staying in the Little Mermaid section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort!  The larger-than-life icons there are simply amazing - Ursula is my absolute fave!  Some really great photo ops there too!  You absolutely heard correctly - due to the long trek to Landscape of Flavors food court, they do set up a sort of rolling cart on the sidewalk at the junction between the Little Mermaid and Lion King sections.  They have a really nice assortment of cold breakfast foods and of course, coffee and juices.

Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it!  I wish you a very magical vacation!
