We’re staying at a nearby hotel and would like to ride our electric Razor scooters to Disneyland. Can we lock them at the bike racks at the Harbor or Downtown Disney entrances, or store a folded scooter in a locker if it fits?

Hi there, Eric. Thanks for scooting over to planDisney with this great question. Sounds like you’re making great use of the convenient hotels near the resort and saving steps for the park! Great idea!

As you mentioned, there are bike racks at the Harbor Blvd. and Downtown Disney sides of the parks. I think the Harbor Blvd. side would be better since the bike rack is outside the security checkpoint. You may be able to use the bike rack at Downtown Disney at Star Wars Trading Post, but you would need to get permission from a security guard since e-scooters are listed as prohibited items in the Resort Rules. If you explain your plan to lock the scooters at the bike rack to the security guard, they may allow you through. You may be able to fit your scooters in the lockers, depending on the size. The largest lockers are 18” wide x 25” high x 37” deep. Again, you will need to get permission from the security guard to go through security, and they may or may not allow it.

Be sure to walk your scooters once you’re on property as you approach the bike rack or security checkpoint. Bring a secure lock to keep it safe while you enjoy the parks!

Eric, I hope you have a great time at the Disneyland Resort. Halloween Time is in full swing, and the treats are truly delicious this year! Check out the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide for all the delectable dishes! If you have more questions, stop back by planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
