We will be staying near walnut and katella and looking for the shortest route to get to the parks. Thank you

Hi there, Ellen. Thanks for cruising by with your question! I'm happy you are here.

Based on your information, I would recommend walking down Katella towards Disneyland Drive. From here, you can enter the Downtown Disney District by going through security near Din Tai Fung, and then heading to the Esplanade between the parks and the Main Entrance. If you are going into Disneyland Park, you could even take the Monorail (when running) from Downtown Disney straight into Tomorrowland. Check the Disneyland Mobile App for operating hours!

If you are headed to California Adventure Park, you can enter both the Downtown Disney District and California Adventure Park by going through the Grand Californian Hotel's lobby. Valid admission and theme park reservation required for entrance into either Disneyland Resort Theme Park!

Ellen, if you are staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel, you might also check to see if they offer a shuttle service to the Disneyland Resort. There are also rideshare services around the resort that might be of interest.

I hope this helps, Ellen. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I would be happy to help you with more planning!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
