We are staying at Music Resort and it looks like H.S. is right across the street. Could we walk to the entrance of H.Studios or is it farther than it looks on a map? Thanks!

    Hi Elana,

Funny how deceiving those maps can be.  Walt Disney World is quite sprawling.  The resort that looks like it's just across the street is actually a 20 minute bus ride. The parking lots to both the resort and Hollywood Studios are quite large, and there are very busy streets connecting them.  Plus, I think it's the back side of the resort that is directly across the way.  You'll definitely want to rely on Disney transportation during your vacation.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
