We are staying at the Music Resort this June. We plan on staying in the room and enjoying the pool until afternoon, then going to parks. Is there any way to have cleaning done in afternoon as I'm not sure how it will work if we are still in the room.

Hi Aimee! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so great to hear from you again!

I love the music theme at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. There is nothing like exploring all of the different music genres and even introducing your kids to a bit of rock and roll while on vacation! This Resort hotel can open up a real conversation with kids about the music that you listened to when you were growing up!

I often tell families not to be surprised if you find that your Resort hotel room isn’t cleaned until the afternoon. It seems to me that a lot of the cleaning priority in the first part of the day is put into cleaning the rooms of guests who have finished their vacations. After those rooms are turned over for incoming guests it seems like the other guest rooms then are cleaned. We are usually out of our room in the morning exploring the Theme Parks or splashing in the pool. Since my kids are a bit on the young side they still need a nap, so after lunch we head back to rest up. We always put up the “Privacy Please” sign on the door during this time. If our room hasn’t been cleaned before nap time, once we are ready to head out the door we call “Mousekeeping”  (otherwise known as housekeeping) to come and clean while we continue on our adventure! So if you ever have a request please don’t hesitate to contact “Mousekeeping.” I have found them to be very friendly and accommodating!

    Have an Unforgettable time!
