Hi! We are staying at Movies resort and have the dining plus package. Would it be best to 1st try and figure out which parks we will be at each day and then make dining reservations at that park? I'm trying to be organized and not running all over disney.

Hi Sara,

Thanks for writing. You sound like a Disney planning pro! I generally try to determine which parks I am going to visit on specific days during my trip, and then make my dining plans accordingly. This way, I'm not forced to leave a park early in order to make it to a reservation on time in a different park, or at a resort that is not close to where we currently are. This strategy is particularly important during peak seasons, when dining reservations can be difficult to secure at the last minute. If you are travelling at off-peak times, you'll have a bit more flexibility. Dining reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
