When staying at a monorail resort, when or how often is there a need to change trains? I seem to remember there were at least 2 "loops". For ex if staying at Poly and going to Epcot do you change at TTC? Need to minimize those ramps due to disab

    Hi Stacie!

The monorail is my favorite mode of transportation at Walt Disney World and staying at one of the resorts on the monorail is a great way to get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot quickly.  The monorail runs on three different loops:
    • Express Loop- runs from the Ticket and Transportation Center straight to Magic Kingdom with no stops
    • Resort Loop- runs from the Ticket and Transportation Center making stops at Polynesian, the Grand Floridian,Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary in that order
    • Epcot Loop- runs from the Ticket and Transportation Center straight to Epcot
You will need to change monorails when going to Epcot, but this is pretty quick and efficient process.  If circumstances allow the Ticket and Transportation Center is just a short walk from the Polynesian, allowing you to board the Epcot Loop directly.  I hope this helps and please visit us again if you have any more questions!

    Enjoy your Disney Time!
