    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your wonderful question about MagicBands. I hope you will continue to visit the moms and dads of the Disney Parks Moms Panel while planning your upcoming vacation.

    Kathy, whether or not you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase and use your very own MagicBand! I am a huge fan of MagicBands and have grown quite the collection. I love to mix and match my MagicBands according to what Walt Disney World Resort theme park I am visiting and what I am wearing.

    Guests of Disney Resort hotels and Walt Disney World Resort annual passholders automatically receive a MagicBand. However, because you are staying outside Walt Disney World Resort property, you can purchase a MagicBand online, from the Shop Disney Parks App, or in person at select Walt Disney World Resort shops.

    Once you have purchased a MagicBand, linking it to your Disney account is easy. Simply sign into your Disney Account and link your MagicBand by visiting the MagicBands section of “My Profile.” You can also link your MagicBand via the My Disney Experience mobile app. The mobile app makes planning "on-the-go" simple and carefree.
