I am staying in a little mermaid room in art of animation in Feb. 1 of My daughter will be 8 months old. Can I request a pack and play /travel crib for her? Will it be guaranteed as obviously she can't sleep on a bed Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!

I am excited to hear that you will soon Be Our Guest at a Disney Resort hotel. I cannot praise Disney’s Art of Animation Resort enough. It is simply magical!

The first time I took my daughter to the Walt Disney World Resort we stayed in a Little Mermaid standard room and she was so excited! In my opinion, this is one of the best Disney Resort hotels for kids because of the incredible theming that puts them right in the middle of beloved Disney classics like The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars.

As the mother of a very curious 9-month-old, I believe your baby daughter will absolutely love to see all the color and beautiful larger-than-life characters. They are at an age where they are interacting with the outside world more and more so I cannot wait for you to explore this gorgeous resort with her. Other features that make this destination so amazing are The Big Blue Pool, which is the largest pool at the Walt Disney World Resort, the delicious Landscape of Flavors, and easy access to the Disney Skyliner

For your family’s convenience, complimentary cribs are available. You can request one while making a reservation or upon arrival at the hotel. I recommend calling ahead to put in a request on your reservation and then confirming with Front Desk once again as soon as you arrive. The Pack ‘n Plays offered are standard size, so they will be perfect to offer your sweet girl a good and safe night of sleep.

Moms Panel tip: as you navigate the theme parks, don’t forget to stop by the Baby Care Centers for all your baby needs!

Thank you for sending your question our way. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit!

    Best Disney wishes,
    Thiana.
