We are staying in a Lake View DVC unit at the Polynesian. I read that these are all in the Moorea Longhouse. Is it possible to have food delivered to the Moorea lobby or do the deliveries have to go to the main Polynesian lobby?I see pictures of the Moorea

    Aloha, BJ!

What can I say except you're welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are going to be enjoying the spirit of Aloha and the magic of Disney at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Our family has enjoyed the DVC rooms at this Resort, and it is one of my favorites. It's like you have been transported to a Polynesian paradise just moments from the magic.

BJ, you are welcome to order groceries to come to your Resort.  They would be delivered to Bell Services at the Great Ceremonial House (the main lobby.)  Bell Services can transport them to your room at the Moorea Longhouse, but there is a $6 fee (subject to change) per order for Bell Services to deliver them. To avoid this fee, you can meet the grocery delivery driver in the lobby and borrow a luggage cart to transport them yourself. If you are having alcohol delivered with your order, you will have to meet the driver and present your photo ID, as Cast Members can't accept it on your behalf.

Now, BJ, one thing to note is the timing of your delivery order. While some of the Disney Resorts can hold perishable items for you until you arrive, many of them can't, and it varies from Resort to Resort. As it will be hot when you are visiting, I always recommend timing your delivery order for when you will be in your room, after 4:00 p.m., so that you can accept the order and put perishables away immediately.

When it comes to delivery services, many popular grocery delivery services can come to your Resort.  We have used Instacart, Amazon Fresh, or Whole Foods. However, my parents like to order from Walmart or Kroger.  Several planDisney panelists like Garden Grocer for their supplies, but all of these services can deliver to you at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

I hope this helps you, BJ! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, surf back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you.  At planDisney, you are part of our 'ohana. 'Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind.
