    Staying w/ kids 8,6,5,1 at P O RIVERSIDE soon. We are unable to stay in a Royal Room b/c of our family size. We DID pay extra for a prfrd room. Wondering which blgs at PO are the most kid friendly to stay at? Would really like a refurb room too!

    Hi Melissa!

    With your family size and having booked yourself a Preferred Room location, you'll be in one of buildings 14, 15, 18 or 27 most likely. These buildings are ideally situated adjacent to the resort's lobby/food court/shopping and a short walk directly to the feature pool and waterslide area.

    For the optimal location and a refurbished room, you may consider calling in to Vacation Package booking and speaking with a Cast Member. Have your confirmation number handy and ask to have a 'note' added to your reservation, requesting that your room be located in Building 14.

    Keep in mind that this specific building request cannot be guaranteed, but Disney Cast Members at Port Orleans Riverside will do their best to accommodate your request based on availability on your arrival day. Notating it upon your file prior to arrival is your best bet so that your note will be read as room assignments are issued for your arrival day. Make your request known again as you check-in. The other 3 "preferred location" buildings mentioned are equally close to transportation and amenities and you'd certainly be pleased with any of them as well!
