I'm a huge fan of both
Animal Kingdom Lodge resorts, the new Kidani Village and the original Jambo House. The resort provides a couple of childcare options so you can enjoy an evening out with your wife.
Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to an awesome children's activity center, Simba's Cubhouse, which is generally open from 4:30 p.m. to midnight for potty-trained children between 4-12 years old. This play space is staffed by Disney Cast members and children can play video games, enjoy dinner and snacks, watch Disney movies and interact with other kids their age, all while you enjoy the evening out with your wife. Simba's Clubhouse is located in Jambo House, which is a short bus ride or a 10-15 minute walk from Kidani Village. If your child does not meet the Simba's Clubhouse age requirements, or if you prefer in-room babysitting, you can reserve a baby sitter through Walt Disney World's preferred childcare provider, Kid's Nite Out. We've used the service and were very pleased with the babysitter we were provided. Kid's Nite Out caregivers are interviewed, screened, and provided with childcare training as well as a Disney Orientation.
