We will be staying at Kidani Village the 2nd week of June. I will have 2 6year old granddaughters on Sunday. We will not be going to the parks. What are some of the free things I can do with them during the day and evening besides swimming.

Hi Alice! Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. You're going to have a blast with your granddaughters...Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a fantastically magical place to stay so I know they're going to love it!

Be sure to visit the Community Hall. My kids have so much fun doing the arts and crafts activities and making new friends. Besides the funtastic Samawati Springs Pool and Uwanja Camp, there are many cool cultural immersion activities your granddaughters will enjoy learning about and participating in.

In the evening, gather around the campfire and enjoy songs and folktales as your granddaughters roast marshmallows for a sweet treat. On select nights you'll be able to watch a favorite Disney movie under the stars or watch the wild animals with special nighttime goggles.

When we're not visiting the theme parks, my kids love visiting Downtown Disney, there's so much to enjoy and it's free...except for the inevitable tip to the LEGO store!

Wishing your family a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
