We are staying at Kidani Village and would like to try to have drinks and the bread service at the Sanaa Lounge one night. Is there a typically a long wait or a wait list for the Sanaa Lounge? It seems like a small space.

Jambo, Madison! Asante Sana, or thank you, for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Madison, you are going to love staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. It's just a few days away, I bet you are getting so excited. I've stayed at Kidani Village a number of times and love every aspect of this resort. One thing that sets this particular resort apart from the rest is, of course, the wildlife to observe while you are there. There are over 200 species of animals and birds like giraffes, zebras and flamingos. Not sure what you are looking at? No worries, Kidani Village has you covered. You'll find a field guide in your room with information on all of the animals you might spot during your stay.  Fun!

Enjoying some of the lounges around the Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite things to do, Madison. You get to enjoy some of the best restaurants, drinks and dishes without reservations or a hefty price tag. It has been my experience that the lounge areas at select Walt Disney World restaurants don't fill up too quickly throughout the evening.  The lounges often are pretty small and intimate spaces but because people aren't ordering 3-course meals the tables can turn pretty quickly. I've never had more than a 45-minute wait at any of the lounges that I've visited over the years. Of course, since it is a bar area as well, you will have some Guests who hang out all evening as well which is perfectly fine too. However, I think because most people at Walt Disney World have set itineraries you don't often find people hanging around too long. I went ahead and took a look at the calendar and the Sanaa Lounge is open most days the week of your trip from 11:30 a.m. until around 11:00 p.m. each day. The earlier in the day that you visit, the less of a wait time you'll experience.

I'm really glad to see that you are interested in trying the Indian-style Bread Service at the Sanaa Lounge. It's so delicious! All of the spreads for the bread are so unique, it makes for such a fun dining experience. If you like spicy drinks, I highly recommend trying the spicy poblano margarita - it's my favorite.

I hope this helps you plan your day a little bit better, Madison. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help!

    Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
