    Hi, We will be staying at Kidani Village with Standard View. I know the standard view basically overlooks the parking lot. Is there a particular room to request where we have a pool view, or a better view than the parking lot?

    Hi, Ramon! We just returned from a week-long vacation at AKL-Kidani Village. The resort was wonderful, but I have to tell you that the best part was being on the Sunset Savanna and seeing the animals morning and night.  It was well worth the DVC points to stay there, and if I was paying on a cash basis, I would consider paying more for it as well.  Yet, if neither of those options are available, consider calling DVC or Disney reservations to make a specific request to be across from the pool and remind the Cast Member who checks you in of your request.  We were in building nine -- which for the guests opposite us with a standard view would've faced the pool.  Please know that there was still a little of the parking lot between the pool area and the building.
