    We'll be staying at the Kidani Village, and I'm planning for an early breakfast at either Chef Mickey or The Crystal Palace in MK. Would the buses be running by then? Extra Magic Hours for that day is 8am, and breakfast would be 8am/earlier.

    I am happy to hEAR you have an upcoming stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village...you are sure to have a WILD time! 

    Enjoying an early breakfast at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite ways to start our Disney days. Whether you chose Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, you certainly can't go wrong as each location features a delicious breakfast buffet with lots of well-loved Disney characters.

    Sherrie, I am happy to report that you will definitely be able to take Disney's complimentary bus transportation from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to get you to breakfast in time. Disney's bus transportation webpage indicates that buses from your Resort to Magic Kingdom start running approximately 45 minutes prior to Park opening, which includes Extra Magic Hour opening times. However, in my experience, I have generally found that the buses start much earlier, often an hour before Park opening time. I suggest you check with your Resort Concierge upon arrival for the exact bus start time for the day in question.

    If you end up choosing to dine at Chef Mickey's, upon arrival at Magic Kingdom, you will be able to take the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort, or make the short walk using the convenient walkway from the Magic Kingdom bus drop.
