Staying in Kidani Village 10/23 - 10/30 (5 ad. + 5yo and 8yo). Any estimates on travel time between Kidani and the 4 parks? Trying to determine the ease of eating lunch at our villa (would also give a break in the day.) But how much time would we lose?

    Hi Tiffany!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Kidani Village and it was absolutely gorgeous!  Unfortunately, it is one of the more distant resorts and coming back for lunch each day may take longer than one would think.  Magic Kingdom is about 21 minutes away, Hollywood Studios is around 19 minutes, Epcot is approximately 20 minutes and Animal Kingdom is only 18 minutes.  Of course, these times do not include the time spent waiting for the buses, which may take up to 20 minutes each way.   You can safely bet on losing a couple of hours each day if you travel to and from your resort for lunch.  However, this may be a much needed break on some days!!!

Given the ages of your children, I don't think that you will need to return to your condo every day.  I would just play it by ear and see if a two hour lunch fits into your schedule.  Enjoy every second of your time at Disney World!

    Much pixie dust,
