1:Staying at Kidani in Oct in a 2 bedroom, is the coffee pot the usual 12 cup? 2:Is the water taxi running from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary? 3:Brunch for 4 ladies - House of Blues or Raglan Rd? I like both, bringing 3 newbies!

Jambo, Tricia, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you decided to be part of our pride to hunt down some answers to your excellent vacation planning questions. Although I just can't wait to be king, I love working on my roar and I'm here to help!

Let's start with your caffeine query. There is nothing better than starting your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village with a cup of coffee while you watch the wildlife on the savannas! When we stayed at Kidani earlier this year, we spent a lot of time on the balcony just enjoying the view--sometimes when you're rope-dropping the theme parks every morning you miss out on this amazing, only-at-Walt Disney World Resort experience.

Tricia, you are correct that the Disney Vacation Club 2-Bedroom Villas at Kidani have a 12-cup standard coffeemaker. You'll find a starter pack of coffee and accessories in your villa, but we usually pack my husband's preferred blend to make sure he's fully caffeinated for our Disney adventures! If you decide to order groceries to stock your kitchen, Bell Services can hold these for you and will even keep refrigerated items cool. Just keep in mind that they cannot accept any orders containing alcohol--you must be present to accept the order and show your ID.

Now that we've addressed the oh-so-important question of coffee, let's talk transportation. I'm happy to report that the watercraft service that connects Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is up and running (well, sailing...). The "blue route" typically departs every 20-30 minutes and is such a relaxing way to travel.

OK, next up--brunch time! I'm sure you and your gal pals are going to have a wonderful time no matter where you decide to break bread at Disney Springs. Personally, I would go for the Weekend Brunch at House of Blues--I love the Southern-inspired food and the great vibes. The legendary Gospel Brunch hasn't returned just yet, but you may be in luck when you visit this fall!

Another great brunch at Disney Springs can be found at Summer House on the Lake. This is a new addition to the Springs, and we had a fantastic meal there on our most recent visit. The food is fresh and delicious (the jalapeño cornbread is out of this world!), and it's a quieter setting for your bestie brunch. I also love their Cookie Bar, featuring all sorts of sweet treats from the in-house bakery.

Well, Tricia, we covered a lot of ground, and I hope that you and your friends have the most wonderful time together on your fall getaway. Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please reach out anytime if I can help with any other questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your trip.

    Hakuna Matata!
