    Hi. I will be staying inside the Disney Resort during the week of 12/5. What is the best transportation method for traveling with a 3 year old, when we want to try other hotels for breakfasts? We will not have a vehicle with us.

    It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You must be excited about your upcoming visit! Just a few more days to go!

    I always stay at Disney Resort hotels to enjoy all exclusive benefits available for Guests, and complimentary transportation is one of them. We always use the excellent transportation provided by Disney to travel throughout the Walt Disney World Resort with our daughter and we never have any issues.

    The best method of transportation will depend on what Disney Resort hotel you will be staying at, where you want to go, and what time you have made breakfast reservations for. Depending on where you are staying and where you are going, you might be required to use more than one mode of transportation. During a recent visit we stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and had dining reservations at Chef Mickey’s. We took the bus from our Disney Resort hotel to Magic Kingdom Park and from there we took the monorail to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. In this case we could have also taken a 5-minute walk from the Magic Kingdom Park bus stop to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but our daughter loves riding the monorail.

    Please note that Disney suggests planning approximately 1.5 hours when traveling between destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort, so keep that in mind as you plan. If you have a very early breakfast reservation it might be better to take a taxi, and in case you are staying at select Deluxe Disney Resort hotels you can also use the amazing service provided by the super cute Minnie Vans.
