Hey, Vicky. I live at the beach and enjoy fresh seafood straight off of the boat year-round so I like to think of myself as somewhat of a seafood connoisseur. Walt Disney World boasts some great seafood offerings but I certainly have my favorite spots.
One meal my family and I can't get enough of is
Cape May Cafe for dinner. This is an all-you-care-to-enjoy New England style clam bake. And I know what you might be thinking, a seafood buffet. But trust me, this place knows what it's doing. On the menu, you can find options like peel and eat shrimp, mussels, clams, a variety of fish, seafood paella and my personal favorite, all-you-care-to-enjoy crab legs with warm melted butter served right beside them. For non-seafood lovers, there are lots of salads, side dishes, and even a carving station. Another great place to try is
The BOATHOUSE Restaurant at Disney Springs. I've dined there several times and have always left happy and with a full belly. On the menu, you'll find raw bar options, salads, fish selections, seafood buckets, and dishes featuring lobster, shrimp, and crab. Some of my favorites on the menu are the shrimp and grits, New England lobster roll (made with butter and not mayo), and the scallops. For an appetizer, I love the pimento cheese! There are so many great things to choose from. If you're looking to get a seafood fix in a hurry and you happen to be at Epcot, I also really like the fish and chips from the
Yorkshire County Fish Shop found in the World Showcase. Even though it's fried, the fish is not greasy and has a great fresh flavor.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.
