Hello, Barbara! It's so great to see you again here at planDisney. It's an honor to help you with your vacation planning needs! There's "snow" place like Disneyland Resort for the holidays.
The
Hyatt Regency Orange County is a popular Good Neighbor Hotel located less than 10 minutes from the Disneyland theme parks. You'll love the 17-story glass atrium, filled with palm trees and natural light. It's an excellent choice for families wanting upscale accommodations for a more reasonable price!
The hotel offers Disneyland Resort shuttle transportation to and from the theme parks at a cost of $6 per person per day; kids three and under are complimentary (prices are subject to change at any time). I spoke with the front desk, who confirmed that the shuttle buses are wheelchair-accessible. It departs the hotel at :15 and :45 of every hour and leaves Disneyland at the top and bottom of every hour, starting 45 minutes before park opening and running until an hour after the park closes. The shuttle does get crowded during morning peak times and around park closing time, so you may want to plan accordingly. Guests of the hotel can also rent wheelchairs and ECVs from the front desk upon arrival.
Since Disneyland Park was built long ago, some queues are twisty and tiny. Be aware that when you get to the parks, some attractions may require you to use alternate entries and exits. More information about that can be found on the
Mobility Disabilities webpage. If you have any questions, feel free to speak with a Cast Member at (407) 560-2547 or email them at disability.services@disneyland.com.
I hope you have the merriest time with the ones you love, Barbara! See ya real soon!
