Hello there, Kristi! Welcome to the planDisney panel where my pals and I are always happy to help our fellow guests plan their Disney vacations. Thanks for cruising our way.
I like the travel plans you have made so far. I always plan my airline travel to arrive one day prior to my cruise setting sail. Staying at the hotel at the Orlando International Airport sure makes for a quick stop to relaxation soon after landing. I like the way you plan ahead. I'm also a big fan of leaving the task of driving to the port to the Disney Cruise Line by adding
ground transportation options to my reservations. By my calculations, you are going to arrive well-rested and ready for a relaxing voyage.
When you check in to your hotel, you can expect to receive a letter containing specific departure and luggage handling instructions for the day you set sail. I know that waiting till the day before your cruise begins can feel a little bit like Elsa stepping "into the unknown!" but you can rest assured that you'll have the details that you need for embarkation day.
So, with all of your plans well made, the most difficult decision once you step onboard might be what to choose for lunch! I recommend that you check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship to view dining times and the restaurants that will be available. Many guests love to head straight to Cabanas for a delicious lunchtime spread with many options. You may prefer to visit one of the main dining rooms for a more full-service experience. Check your Navigator app to see which main dining rooms may offer breakfast or lunch during your cruise if you think you'd enjoy it.
Have a wonderful time with the Disney Cruise Line and please sail our way again at planDisney if we can be of further assistance.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
