Hey there, Molly! From one Oregonian to another, welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you will soon be visiting the Disneyland Resort and exploring a Good Neighbor Hotel. I'm pleased to help with your question.
I've stayed at a few different
Good Neighbor Hotels and just recently began to explore those near the Anaheim Convention Center. There are a few options for you and your group to get to the parks, including walking over to the
Toy Story Parking Area to hop on the parking shuttle to the resort. The shuttle is complimentary and you do not have to be parked in the lot in order to ride the shuttle.
Another option, which I tend to use when staying in this area, is
riding the bus to the Disneyland Resort. From this site, I use the option under "Getting Around the Anaheim Resort Area." There is a small fee to ride this bus, however, I find that it's worth it when my feet are tired from a full day at Disneyland. There should be a stop nearby your hotel and the bus drops you off right in the same area as the Toy Story Parking shuttle. I've found the buses to be clean and typically filled with other Guests visiting
Disneyland.
Finally, the last option is to walk over to the parks. Your hotel is about one mile from the main entrance. Sometimes when I don't feel like waiting on the bus, I'll just walk over; although, I'll admit that I do like to save some of my walking energy for when I'm inside the parks. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just fly in like Peter Pan?
Molly, I hope this was helpful to you and gives you some ideas for how you'd like to get to the parks during your visit. If you have other questions, please come back and share them with us. I wish you and your group a magical stay at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Happy planning!
Michelle
