Staying with my husband and 2 year old daughter for two nights, most likely will be going to magic kingdom. Wondering if anyone could give some input between Coronado Springs Resort versus Port Orleans Resort.

    Hi Jessica!

Coronado Springs Resort and Port Orleans Resort are both fantastic and completely different.  Coronado Springs is considered a conference hotel, so the grounds are bigger and depending what's going on at the time you're there, may be host to very large groups.  It is a stunning Spanish style resort and the Mayan pyramid pool is super cool.  A stroll around the water line at night will make you oooh and aaaah.

Port Orleans is my favorite moderate resort.  Why?  I can't exactly put into words how it makes me feel.  It's beautiful, charming and makes me let out a big sigh when I'm walking around.  Did I mention it's beautiful?  I prefer Riverside to French Quarter, but they are both fantastic.  I have a little obsession with southern mansions, so the huge white columned buildings in Riverside speak to me.  It will make any girl feel like a Princess, especially if you are staying in a Royal Room!  This resort is also a lot closer to the Magic Kingdom, so transportation will be faster than if you were coming from Coronado Springs.  That is definitely something to consider if you plan on taking afternoon naps back in your room.

You can't go wrong with either resort.  How about letting your little girl decide?  Show her some photos of each resort and see which one sparks her interest.

    Have a magical day!
