Hey there Mannie and welcome to planDisney!
Mannie, you've officially entered what I like to refer to as the homestretch. You're within that 60-day window to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! September is the time for my annual trip so I know just how fast the time flies and it's good that you're figuring out these details now. Your Fairy GodTaylor is here to help you travel from place to place once you're inside the magic. But before we even work that out, let's make sure you can enter the parks!
Currently, all Guests are required to have Theme Park Reservations in addition to your Theme Park Tickets to enter the parks. I'll show you how it's done.
1. Make sure your
Theme Park Tickets are linked to your
My Disney Experience account. It's so convenient to link them directly on the
corresponding app. Just open it, log in, and tap the three-lined icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap Tickets and Passes and then Link Tickets & Passes. A page will pop up that requires you to enter the ID Code from your ticket. That confirmation number can be found on your ticket confirmation email from Walt Disney World Reservations. Enter it and tap Submit.
2. Once you're all linked up. It's time to make
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System. In your My Disney Experience app, tap the plus sign icon at the bottom of the screen. You'll choose to Make a Park Reservation. Under the Theme Park Reservations section, you'll press the blue Theme Park Tickets button which will take you to the log-in page for your My Disney Experience account. Once you've logged in, you'll be able to Create Your Party. Select everyone that will be in the park with you, the date you're making the reservation for, and then select your theme park for the day.
If the shuttle from your hotel brings you to the Transportation and Ticket Center at Magic Kingdom Park here's how you can get to all 4 theme parks.
1. The easiest will of course be taking either the monorail or ferry the rest of the way into
Magic Kingdom Park.
2.
EPCOT can be reached by monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center as well.
3. Reaching
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will take a bit more thought. You would have to catch your hotel's shuttle to the Transportation and Ticket Center, catch a ride on the ferry or monorail to the front of Magic Kingdom Park, catch a bus to a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and then another bus to the park. You would have to follow this same pattern to get to
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Pro-tip: On the days you want to head to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I think it would be best to use a rideshare service to save yourself some trouble.
Mannie, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
