We are staying at Hilton Head next month and I see that the resort is not right on the beach. How close is the beach and how can we get there? Is it a public beach or does the resort have it's own spot? Thanks!

Hi Maureen! Get ready for fun in the sun...you're going to love Disney's Hilton Head Resort, it's one of our favorite get away spots! Trust me when I tell you it won't take long to settle into the warm relaxed atmosphere of this coastal paradise.

The beautiful Disney Beach House is just about a mile down the road from the main resort and a bike path takes you right there. With a bunch of beach gear in tow, we drove our car to the Beach House, but complimentary shuttles are available every half hour from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm February to September and on call during the remainder of the year.

You'll find your beach towels waiting for your in your villa, so be sure to bring when you head to the beach. Beach umbrellas and chairs are available to rent.

Nothing beats a day at the beach for my kids, so Disney's Hilton Head Resort is a big hit with our family! I hope your upcoming vacation is magical and memorable.
