Erin from MO Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are staying at the Hilton Doubletree in Disney Springs in June. I hear we can make fast pass selections 60 days out. Do we have to buy the tickets through the hotel to be able to link them to our account to make these fast passes?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin!

Hooray for an upcoming visit to the most magical place on earth! I hope you are enjoying the planning portion of your magical vacation. For me, as soon as I have a visit booked, the countdown begins and the dreaming up and planning kicks-off! It helps the days go by as I anticipate what will surely be a most magical visit.

Erin, getting to pre-book your time-saving FastPass+ in advance is a great way to schedule out your adventure-filled days at the parks! If your hotel is one of the Disney Springs area Good Neighbor hotels participating in the early FastPass+ booking window, I suggest purchasing your tickets soon, so you can have everything set up and ready for when your booking window opens. You don’t have to wait to purchase them at the hotel. Simply visit the Parks and Tickets tab on the website, follow the prompts to customize your tickets, then once you have purchased them log into your My Disney Experience account and link them up.

Once your purchased and linked up, you’ll be ready to book your magical FP+ for your visit. Be sure to mark your calendar with all your important planning dates, like your 60-day FastPass+ booking window and your 180-day Advance Dining Reservation window so you can lock in everything in your wish list!

Have fun planning and if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to bring those our way.

    See ya real soon,
