We are staying at the Hilton Disney Springs Lake Buena Vista in May 2020. We will purchase Magic Bands prior and purchase tickets in advance - how can I link the tickets to the bands? Also can the hotel link credit cards to the bands like other WDW resorts

Hi Cecilia and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited to know about your Springtime visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

The easiest way to link MagicBands and theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account, is by following the directions on this link. There you will find instructions on how to link lots of different kinds of products and reservations to your My Disney Experience account.

Since you’re technically not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you won’t be able to make purchases with your MagicBand. You will be able to use the band when your theme park tickets are linked to it, to enter the parks. You’ll also be able to use the band to redeem your FastPass+ selections.

Cecilia, did you know that you can place Mobile Orders at quick service restaurants via your My Disney Experience app? You can also keep a credit card saved to your account that can pay for your orders, right from your phone! Be sure to download the My Disney Experience application before your visit, so you can explore it and then you will be ready to go for your visit!

I hope I’ve been able to help. Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next visit!
