We are staying at the Grand Floridian in September. On arrival afternoon 9/25 we want to play miniature golf at the Fantasia course. What is the best transportation to-and-from the resort to the golf course?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Chris!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! Get ready for an incredible adventure filled with unforgettable moments, great snacks, and pixie dust around every corner. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, there’s nothing quite like stepping into the MAGIC of the parks. From thrilling rides to nighttime fireworks that make your heart soar, every day is going to be "practically perfect in every way". We are thrilled for you and can’t wait to "See You Real Soon!"

I must start off by saying you are going to LOVE staying at the Grand Floridian! This resort is AH-mazing, and you will feel like you are waking up in a dreamy blend of Disney wonder and seaside charm. The views of the lagoon are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset when the sky turns into cotton candy. The pools are perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and the cabanas are total luxury! With incredible dining, top-notch service, and little Disney touches everywhere, it’s the kind of place that makes your whole trip feel extra special.

If you're looking for a TIGGER-ific (and free!) way to get from the Grand Floridian to Fantasia Gardens, this route is a fun little adventure all on its own! Start by hopping on a Disney bus headed to Hollywood Studios. Once you arrive, don’t go into the park, but make your way over to the nearby boat launch, right outside the entrance. From there, you’ll board a charming FriendShip Boat, which cruises over to the Swan and Dolphin Resort. It’s a peaceful ride and a great way to relax after a morning of travel. Once you dock at the Swan, it's just a short and pleasant 5–10 minute walk to the miniature golf course. You’ll spot the iconic dancing hippos and musical fountains before you even reach the check-in counter. The whole trip takes about 30–40 minutes, but it’s such a relaxing journey, you’ll hardly notice. It’s a great option if you want a little extra Disney fun before your first tee-off!

If you’re not in the mood for multiple stops and just want to get to the golf course easily, the Minnie Van is your pixie-dusted chariot! These red-and-white polka-dotted vans will whisk you straight from the Grand Floridian to Fantasia Gardens with zero hassle. It’s comfy, quick, and you’ll arrive feeling like a VIP. I mean...How often do you get to ride in a Minnie-themed car on your vacation?

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
