Hi Miles,
We are delighted to see you dropping by planDisney with a great question!
First, let me say Happy Anniversary! What a milestone anniversary and the happy news is that you get to celebrate at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my family's favorite resorts! We actually love to stay here during
The Holidays at Walt Disney Word Resort. The walking path to Magic Kingdom is wonderful and we appreciate having access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation.
Now to your specific question about
Disability Access Service (DAS) - currently, I would suggest that you go to Guest Relations in a park to speak with a Cast Member about registering for the Disability Access Service. When we have used this service in the past, there has been a limit to how many family members can be linked. Know that anyone in your party can request a return time for an attraction from a Cast Member, but the person with the Disability Access Service must scan onto the ride first before other family members can scan in for the attraction.
We are also super excited because the new
Disney Genie service will have some features of DAS. So be sure that you have the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded and that you have reviewed the details about Disney Genie service.
Miles, it sounds like your planning is practically perfect in every way. If you have not done some matching t-shirt shopping, stop by
shopDisney for some inspiration. Magic is waiting!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
