We're staying at the Grand Floridian Resort in a theme park view room, outer building. Do you know if there is a dvd player in the bedroom?

    Hi Susan!

Thanks for your question. Staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is simply fantabulous! Our family has stayed there twice, and can't get enough of its elegance and beautiful Victorian-style architecture. My daughter says she always feels like a Disney Princess whenever we stay there. I also love that it's a monorail resort, and almost a stone's throw to Magic Kingdom. Excellent choice on the Theme Park View!

Standard and Deluxe Rooms do not come with DVD players unfortunately. You would have to upgrade to a room or suite with Club-Level Service; those rooms come with DVD players as amenities.

What our family does now with all our myriad technology gadgets is stream or download movies or shows to our smartphones, tablets, or laptops. And for those times when I prefer to watch a movie on a larger screen (like the TV in the room), I'll bring along an extra HDMI cable and plug the HDMI cable from my laptop to the HDMI port on the TV, and then I can enjoy my movie super-sized! :-)

May you have a splendid time at the Grand Floridian Resort, enjoy the wonderful fireworks show from Magic Kingdom, and a have great stay at Walt Disney World resort!
