    We are staying at the Grand Floridian in November. I know there is a sandy beach there, are there items available for use such as sand toys, umbrellas, and towels? My kids love playing the sand and I want to be prepared. Thanks!

    Hi Nellie!

    You are going to love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! The landscape and rooms are gorgeous and it's wonderful to only be a short distance from Magic Kingdom Park. 

    My family loves spending time at the pools and playing on the white sandy beach. There are lounge chairs available, towels can be used from the nearby Beach Pool, and on occasion umbrellas are set-up. Unfortunately, beach toys are not available, so you may want to bring a few with you, or check the resort gift shop for such items. On our last visit, we rented a private cabana at the Beach Pool and spent the whole day enjoying the pool, splash area and beach. It turned out to be one of our all-time favorite days! The cabana offered shade, fresh fruit and drinks, a television, and plenty of space to sit and relax. Half or full days rentals are available.
