I have great news for you, Elizabeth. One of the perks of using Disney Cruise Line
ground transportation is that you do not need to select a Port Arrival Time. For this reason, I choose to begin online check-in the next day at my leisure, without staying up late.
You can expect an email to arrive in your inbox approximately 48 hours before you set sail on the
Disney Fantasy with instructions about when and where to meet on the morning of embarkation at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You'll need to check in with the Disney Cruise Line representatives at the resort and wait comfortably until it is time to board your coach to Port Canaveral.
Please be sure to keep your
important travel documentation in your carry-on luggage that you will have with you as you arrive at the port. You will need to present these documents at the cruise terminal before boarding the ship. You would not want them in your checked luggage, as those luggage pieces will be taken at the hotel and then delivered to your stateroom later in the afternoon. It's very convenient for you, but you'll want to keep any items that you might need for check-in and till the late afternoon in your carry-on luggage.
