We are staying at the Grand Floridian in May and want to rent a pool cabana. How far in advance is necessary and with whom do we make the reservation?

    Hi Karen --

Renting a pool cabana sounds like a really great way give you and your family a little extra special treatment on your next Disney vacation!  You can reserve a cabana 90 days prior to your arrival by calling 407 WDW-PLAY (393-7529).  I recommend booking this as soon as you are able to just to make sure they aren't all taken.

    The cabanas include:
    • padded chaise lounge chairs and padded straight-backed chairs
    • plush towels
    • 22 inch LCD television with cable access and optional earphones
    • Sirius Satellite Radio
    • DVD/CD/MP3 player
    • Phone for internal resort calls
    • Mini refrigerator stocked with complementary beverages
    • Complementary fruit basket
    • Private dining & poolside massages are also available at an additional cost.
    Currently, the rental fee for a half day is $60 - from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. OR 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.  A full day (10 a.m. - 7 p.m.) costs $110.  Prices and amenities are subject to change without notice.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
