Staying at Grand Floridian in May for first time. For garden view, what rooms/buildings would you suggest asking for?

    Hi Kimberly,

Grand Floridian is a truly magnificent resort and holds a very special place in my heart.  This beautiful resort is pretty compact and to be honest, none of the locations are located very far away from the main buildings, beach, pools, or transportation.

On my last visit, I was assigned a room in Sago Cay and it was such an ideal location with views of the Grand Floridian Marina.  This building is located off of the beaten path and seemed to be a little more quiet than some of the other buildings I've lodged in.

Another great building is Conch Cay which is located across the marina from Sago Cay.  If you request one of these buildings, you should indicate that you desire a "marina view" room.  Please note that special requests are welcomed, but cannot be guaranteed.  In order to make a special room request, you'll need to call the Walt Disney Travel Company to have the specifics notated to your account (407)WDISNEY.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
