    Staying at Grand Floridian in May. We have breakfast booked at Chef Mickey's at 7:30am with MK opening at 8 for Magic Hour. Will the monorail be running? How can we get there in time? We have two young kids who need car seats so a taxi is inconvenient.

    An early breakfast at Chef Mickey's is a fantastic way to start a day at Walt Disney World Resort! Since you are staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, transportation to your reservation should be a quick and easy ride on the Reosrt Monorail. Officially, the monorail operates 30 minutes prior to the earliest theme park opening, which includes Extra Magic Hours. However, in my experience I have caught the Resort Monorail earlier than that to get to an early breakfast reservation at Magic Kingdom. So I suggest you give the Concierge desk a call the day before your breakfast to get the exact monorail schedule for the day. On my last trip, I called to get the schedule for our early breakfast reservation and it worked out perfectly!
