Hi Chelsea!
I am thrilled to greet a fellow North Carolinian!
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my family's absolute favorite resorts with the
Disney Resorts Collection so I understand your excitement! With our family of four, we have normally been able to dine at Steakhouse 71 in about an hour and fifteen minutes. So, consider how many folks are dining with you. You will also need to account for travel time to and from Disney's Contemporary Resort, so keep that in mind as well. I would add at least another 30 minutes for travel on
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. In total, I would give yourself an hour and forty-five minutes, two hours to be a little safer. Finally, be sure to make an
advanced dining reservation!
Since you will have such great access to other resorts along the Resort Monorail route, I hope you have plans to dine at 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, and California Grill. Dinner at
'Ohana has been a long-time favorite of ours. The food is yummy and the service has been fantastic on our visits.
Chef Mickey's is always a fun character experience. And, my all-time favorite is
California Grill. Dining atop Disney's Contemporary Resort during the Happily Ever After fireworks is an amazing experience, one that we try to fit within the budget for special occasions!
Of course, since you are at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I hope you plan to visit
1900 Park Fare. My girls and I just dined there for breakfast about a month ago and we loved it! Traveling with my girls and wish making with a few of the best reminded me of what is precious in life.
Chelsea, the Evening Star is shining bright. I sent a wish for you - may your trip be more than what you dreamt it could be!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
